Raipur. Pegasus spyware espionage case has become a major issue in the country. CM Bhupesh Baghel claims that people with Pegasus spyware also came to Chhattisgarh. He claimed that the state was the target of espionage. CM Baghel has sought an answer from Dr Raman Singh. He has also demanded a probe into the entire matter. The threat of malware always remains on the users. According to a new report, Pegasus spyware was used to spy on Indian users. In 2019, WhatsApp brought this matter to light, when it sued Israeli spyware maker NSO Group in May 2019 over Pegasus. This spyware was trailing journalists, activists, lawyers and senior government officials. WhatsApp has now revealed that it has contacted several Indian users. The software was used to target these users.
