Janjgir-Champa Collector submits proposal to state govt for formation of new Sub Division in District following CM’s order

Raipur: Following an order of the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Janjgir-Champa District Collector Jitendra Kumar Shukla has submitted a proposal to the State Government, seeking Revenue Sub-Division status for Malkharouda Tehsil of the district. The formation of a new Sub Division in the form of Malkharouda will save the time of the people of this area and its adjoining villages who used to travel 20 km distance to get their work done in the office of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Sakti.

The Chief Minister issued directive to form a new Sub Division in the district in the form of Malkharouda on the demand of Chandrapur MLA and Chhattisgarh State Rural and Pichhdavarg Vikas Pradhikaran vice president Ramkumar Yadav and other public representatives.

A total of 111 villages, 36 patwari halka, four revenue mandal (Malkharouda, Adbhar, Sakarra and Chhapora), one tehsil, 8 gram panchayats, one nagar panchayat-Adbhar will be included in the new Sub Division. Malkharouda Sub Division will have Sakti in the North, Baloda Bazaar District in the South, Dabhra tehsil in the East and Jaijaipur tehsil in the West. Malkharouda will be included in the new Sub Division.
