Police Help Desk reaches out to the needy during Lockdown.

Raigarh. The district administration has decided to extend the lockdown till 06:00 am on May 06. During the lockdown, the district police force has made dry rations and food packets available in all police stations for those who need them. The Covid Guideline prohibits the distribution of food or any materials by the public. Given this, the Police Superintendent Santosh Singh started a "Police Help Desk" for providing food to the needy. He also urged district residents to come forward to help. As per the expectation, almost all the prominent social workers, social institutions, distinguished civil and industrial institutions have come forward in the district, with the help of which police packets distributed food packets to about 10,300 needy people in different areas through the police help desk for the last 11 days. Today the district police shared the names of the social workers, social institutions, distinguished civil and industrial institutions. There are a total of fifty-one people currently volunteering to help.
