Raipur: Health and Family Welfare Minister TS Singh Deo on Tuesday held a meeting with officials concerned in connection with the strike being carried out by class III and IV employees in Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science College (CIMS) Bilaspur.
A detailed discussion regarding the appointment and demand of CIMS employees was held in the meeting.
Meanwhile, during the BJP government regime in Chhattisgarh, third and fourth-class employees were appointed in CIMS, in which complaints were received regarding irregularities in the appointment of some candidates. A committee was constituted by the then government to investigate the matter. After the inquiry of the committee, health minister held a meeting with the officials here. In the meeting, the inquiry report was submitted and a discussion was held regarding the appropriate decision to be taken.
Bilaspur MLA Shailesh Pandey, health principal secretary Dr Alok Shukla, medical education director Dr Vishnu Dutt and CIMS Bilaspur dean Dr. Tripti Nagaria were present in the meeting.
