BJP SC Morcha state president constitutes inquiry committee to probe death of five people in Bathena village of Patan

Raipur: BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha State President and former MLA Naveen Markandey have constituted an inquiry committee to probe death of five people in Bathena village of Patan.

A team from state BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha will go to the incident spot and investigate the case point-wise. He said that it is a matter of complete concern that under which circumstances the incident would have been planned? After investigation only we will be able to know the motive behind the incident and the real culprit, he added.

He said that all the members of the family of deceased are from the scheduled caste category. Earlier, in yet another incident that took place in Durg district, the accused have not been arrested, while the victims of that incident were also from the Scheduled Caste class society.

He said that the people of the society in the whole state are saddened by this incident. Keeping in view, the feelings of all of us, the state government should order for a high-level inquiry into the matter. He further added that immediate financial help should be announced to the family members of deceased.

Members of investigation committee constituted include Bhushan Lal Jangde, Dayaldas Baghel, Sanvalaram Dahria, Sarla Kosaria and Sarojini Banjare.
