Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday introduced three essential services in Raipur Municipal Corporation including “Oxygen on Wheels” for free of cost home delivery of oxygen for those in home isolation.
The other two services launched by chief minister through video conferencing include free ambulance service for transportation of Covid patients from home to hospital and distributing free ration to poor. There are a total of 12 vehicles for distribution of free of cost ration to the poor. There are over 7,000 ration packet containing potato, onion, oil, rice, lentils and soap.
The ambulance service for transportation of Covid patients to hospitals will have all the necessary facilities. Besides, team of doctors will be there in vehicles transporting oxygen, who will check the oxygen level of home isolated patients. These three facilities are being provided by the Raipur Municipal Corporation. Chief Minister congratulated the corporation's team for this work and appreciated the works of Raipur Mayor Aijaz Dhebar.
While launching the service chief minister said that Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country where the facility of providing free oxygen to the Corona patients at home has been introduced. This service started by the Raipur Municipal Corporation will soon be extended to other municipal areas of the state as well.
