The very first look of Satyanarayan Mourya is almost like camouflage. This bearded man appears to be a fairly ordinary person. But he is an extraordinary personality and a versatile genius undoubtedly. Internationally acclaimed for his remarkable paintings and spiritual understanding, Baba Mourya has travelled well over one hundred countries, around the globe. Not to speak of the fact that he has been to the USA for almost 60 times and West Indies more than 20 times. In many countries, the head of state is among his aficionados. Acknowledged for his celebrated programme “Bharat Maa ki Aarti”, Baba is an in-born poet, singer, orator, painter, cartoonist, composer, and above all a true patriot. He is also a philosopher by nature. Recently Baba was in Raipur, to grace the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” programme, held to mark Independence Day. Born in a modest family of a school-teacher at Rajgarh of Madhya Pradesh in 1965, Baba completed his Master's degree in Commerce and also attained a gold medal in Master's of Arts (in drawing & painting) from VikramVishwa Vidyalaya, Ujjain. His painting exhibitions predominantly cover the topics like Ved, Aitihaasik Ram, Goraksha, Swadeshi, – The way of Light, Understanding Hinduism, Hamare Vanvasi, The Child, Hindu Customs, and Traditions, and the contemporary phenomena. His spontaneous discourse is more like a loud-thinking and speaking heart-out. This charismatic twosome automatically becomes a unique style of awakening the audience.
In an exclusive interview, Baba Mourya spoke to Vibhash Kumar Jha at length on a variety of topics and his objectives.
