Raipur. Chhattisgarh's Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Amarjit Bhagat celebrated his 53rd birthday today. On this occasion, he planted 250 saplings at Purkhauti Muktangan, Nava Raipur. Earlier, he launched a battery-operated eight-seater 'Gig' for tourists at Purkhauti Muktangan. Minister Amarjit Bhagat had reached here with the family. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's father, Nand Kumar Baghel, also came with whom Minister Amarjit Bhagat planted a sapling of Maulshree and took his blessings. After that, the minister also met the women working in Purkhauti Muktangan.
On this occasion, the Oraon Progressive Society had organized a welcome ceremony, where the society greeted him. Here also minister Amarjit Bhagat planted a neem plant. He also met Speaker Dr Charandas Mahant, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Health Minister TS Singhdeo. He also cut the cake with the Chief Minister. On this occasion, the residents of Sitapur, the assembly constituency of Minister Amarjit Bhagat, also planted saplings at different places and sent their best wishes.
