Raipur: Chhattisgarh governor Anusuiya Uikey appreciated the work done by the chief minister Bhupesh Baghel for the prevention and control of coronavirus in the state.
Chief minister Bhupesh Baghel paid courtesy call on Governor Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan late on Tuesday. The Governor felicitated chief minister with a shawl and a memento. Chief Minister also felicitated the Governor by presenting her a saree.
Baghel thanked her for this gesture. The governor gave necessary suggestions to the chief minister regarding the establishment of Nagar Panchayat in the scheduled areas. She also discussed about the establishment of industries in tribal areas and Chandulal Chandrakar Medical College and also asked to convene a meeting of the Coordination Committee and Tribal Advisory Council of the Higher Education Department soon.
The governor said that the cases of officers and employees working in various government departments and university level on the basis of fake caste certificates should be heard in the court soon and legal action should be taken against the culprits.
Additional Chief Secretary Subrat Sahu and Secretary to Governor Amrit Kumar Khalkho were also present on the occasion.
