Raipur. Chairman Shailesh Nitin Trivedi's has finally spoken financial irregularities of hundred-crores in the textbook corporation.
He said that new rules regarding cheque payments came into force in 2019. Signatures of MD and State Finance Service Officer are required. He further added that seventy-two crores were paid against the rule, a massive irregularity. Instructions are given to the officials for immediate action.
A letter from the Chhattisgarh State Audit Department has again brought this matter to light.
In this case, the then-president Devji Bhai Patel has also retaliated and asked why the Government sought clarification in 2017 on the financial irregularities of 2008-09. Audit officers should also answer about this.
