Sarkanda police arrests 4 people for ATM tampering

Raipur: Sarkanda police has arrested 4 people for allegedly taking Rs 29,000 from State Bank ATM near Shiv Ghat Sarakanda in Bilaspur by tampering with it.

Tikrapara Bilaspur resident Viral Damani, a senior executive in PSI Limited lodged an FIR of the case with Sarkanda police on Monday. Damani stated that his company’s work is to maintain and repair ATMs in Chhattisgarh. On December 26, he found that the SBI ATM at Shiv Ghat had been tampered with and an amount of Rs 29000 has been taken by unknown people.

Meanwhile, as per the police sources for people sitting in a Delhi Passing car near the ATM of Rajkishore Nagar are the suspects of the case. After receiving the information police station in charge JP Gupta rushed with his team on the spot in search of suspects. During search, 12 ATMs of different banks, 4 mobiles and fake Icards of police and media were recovered from them. In the police interrogation, the accused confessed their crime and they gave full information to the police about how they used to carry out their crime in a vicious manner.

After the confession of the accused, the police have arrested these four accused including Ajit Kumar, Adesh Kushwaha, Ankit Nishad and Babuji Nishad father living in different cities of Uttar Pradesh. .
