Raipur: An important meeting on markets for Chhattisgarh products in Thailand was held between CCCI and Thailand Investment Board.
An all-important meeting between the Thailand Investment Board and the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) has paved the way to provide products of Chhattisgarh with markets in Thailand. The representatives of both Thailand and Chhattisgarh laid emphasis on the promotion of export of various products including engineering, electrical, fabrication, spices, and agriculture and processed foods, etc.
CCCI state president Amar Parwani said that the meeting provided a platform to the people in trades in both Chhattisgarh and Thailand as well as the Government of Thailand. The trade bodies that participated in the meeting made presentations on products that can be exported to Thailand from India. Trade organizations of Thailand also spoke about their requirement and quality of products to be exported from India.
It was said in the meeting that the traders of India see opportunities in gulf counties, south Asia, and Western countries as far as export of agriculture and processed food is concerned. Keeping in mind the market demands, Chicken Curry, Fish Curry, Mean Masala, and Ready to Cook products can be supplied to Thailand markets, said the representatives of CCCI. The CCCI officials said that the meeting will be held at regular intervals to promote export.
