CM Bhupesh Baghel takes dig at BJP, says BJP has not fulfilled a single promise in 5 years

Raipur: Taking a dig at Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel said BJP has not fulfilled a single promise in 5 years.

Addressing an election meeting Dharampur assembly of Assam on Thursday, Baghel asked the people not to believe in saffron party saying that BJP is doing the work of cheating.

He further added that this time the government is being formed by the Congress. The Chief Minister in Assam will be 'Bhoomi Putra'. We have not given false hopes and promises and all that is guaranteed will be complete as soon as the party comes to power. “I think the claim of 100+ seats for BJP in Assam is also the result of Amit Shah’s oversight. Congress alliance is going to form government with 100+ seats”, he said.

Baghel is on a tour of Assam these days, campaigning for the second phase of the assembly in Assam.

Earlier on March 27, CM Bhupesh attacked the BJP saying that they are the people who believe in British, it is their job to spread communalism. He said that all our colleagues in Assam are working. As per the response we are getting we will definitely form the Congress government.

Commenting on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comment for Bangladesh, he said that “yeh sabse tez gendbaaz hai, sabse tez fekte hai”. It is ridiculous to go abroad and say these kinds of things, he added.
