Raipur: In a major relief to education workers who were struggling for compassionate appointment and the health workers who have served during the Covid pandemic, chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has directed to constitute a committee for the same.
This committee will submit a report to the government after examining the eligibility criteria for compassionate appointment of education workers and the eligibility and service conditions for the continuation of service of Covid health workers.
This committee of officers will review the cases of compassionate appointment and prepare a report for disposal of their issues. Similarly, a separate committee will also be formed for the continuity of service and the service conditions of health workers taken in service during Covid-19. A decision will be taken by the government on the report of both the committees.
Meanwhile, the widows of late Panchayat teachers of Chhattisgarh have been protesting in Raipur for the last 51 days for compassionate appointment.
