
Raipur: Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution
Company Limited (CSPDCL) will take dismissal action against people employed in
the company with fake ITI certificates.
The company has initiated an inquiry against such
employees in which it was revealed that many line operators in the power
distribution company have been employed on the job for years on the basis of
fake certificates. A letter has been written to the regional offices concerned for
immediate action against such fraudulent employees.
An official spokesperson informed that complaints
regarding the same were being received by the management for a long time. On
the basis of the complaint, the management conducted an investigation by
sending ITI certificate of employees to the State Board of Examination Skill
Development Directorate, Madhya Pradesh. Following the investigation, the
certificates were found to be fake.
The management has started taking action after
receiving the report. The human resources department has directed to take
immediate action by sending the list of employees holding fake certificates to
the concerned regional offices, said the official.
As per sources, more than 24 employees have been
working for 13-14 years in various offices of the state through fake ITI
certificate. Most of the employees holding fake certificates are employed in Operator
Line Category 2 and 3. These employees will not only be sacked but also FIRs
will be lodged against them.
Meanwhile, the documents of employees are tested at
the time of their joining only. The irregularities in the testing of documents by
the company are also under question.
