Raipur. State Chief Secretary RP Mandal, who is retiring on November 30, was given a farewell by the Council of Ministers, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office today. Members of the Council of Ministers along with the Chief Minister toasted RP Mandal for his long, healthy and happy life.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that under the guidance of RP Mandal, the state had climbed many steps of advancement. He was instrumental in the challenging task of prevention of COVID epidemic, due to which the infection in Chhattisgarh was relatively under control compared to other states.
RP Mandal is retiring on 30th of this month. Amitabh Jain is all set to resume his duties as the new Chief Secretary.
