Raipur. Controversy erupted over allegations made by Congress MLA Brihaspat Singh on Health Minister TS Singhdeo. CG Congress in-charge PL Punia has issued a show-cause notice to Brihaspat Singh. At the same time, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has called an emergency meeting of selected ministers. The meeting went on at the Chief Minister's residence. It does not include TS Singhdeo. He reached Rajkumar College to play badminton late in the evening.
After returning from the assembly, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel informed the party leadership about the developments. After that, the Chief Minister has called an emergency meeting of ministers. Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, Revenue Minister Jai Singh Agrawal, Excise Minister Kawasi Lakhma, Tribal Development Minister Dr Premsai Singh Tekam, Social Welfare Minister Anila Bhendia etc. were present at the meeting.
In this meeting, the ministers tried to resolve the dispute. For now, all eyes are on this meeting. Before leaving the assembly, TS Singhdeo had said he had made his point. The Chief Minister will have the final word.
The party is confused by this dispute that has arisen between the two Congress leaders. The accusations of Brihaspat Singh are hard to admit or deny for him now. If the party accepts the allegations of Brihaspat Singh, then it will have to take action against TS Singhdeo. If they don't, then the pressure on Brihaspat Singh to take action will increase. In both these situations, the position of the party will be weak.
Today during Zero Hour, Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu stood up to make a statement on this matter. He read the copy of the FIR. On this, Health Minister TS Singhdeo gave his answer. He said- Enough is enough; he will not come to the House until the government answers the allegations against him. After saying this, he went out of the assembly.
As soon as he reached home, he got a call from Congress state in-charge PL Punia. He called him back to the assembly for discussion. There was a long talk between the ministers in the Chief Minister's chamber in the Vidhan Sabha. After that, T S Singhdeo and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ravindra Choubey went home from there. T S Singhdeo has said that he stands by his point.
