State govt making every possible effort to commence air services from Bilaspur: CM Bhupesh Baghel

Raipur: Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha paid courtesy call on chief minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here on Thursday.

During the meeting Tankha held discussions on various important topics regarding the commencement of direct air service from Bilaspur to New Delhi.

Chief minister said that the state government is making every effort to start air service from Bilaspur. CMD of Fly Big Airlines, Sanjay Mandavia, Sudeep Srivastava, and Sandeep Dubey of the air facility public mass struggle committee were also present on the occasion.

During the discussion with the chief minister, Mandavia of Fly Big Airlines informed that his company is keen to operate ATR 600 aircraft on Bilaspur to New Delhi route. His company also wants to start air services from Bilaspur to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jabalpur in the future. Currently, his company has two aircraft; Fly Big Airlines will start air service from Raipur to Indore on January 13. The chief minister said that every possible effort will be made from the state government level to start air service from Bilaspur.
