Raipur: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chhattisgarh In-Charge D Purandeswari on Sunday said that the bureaucrats with vast experience and who are associated with the party for a longer period are being given priority in the party as well as in the government. This does not mean other party leaders are ineligible, she said. The party and the government give responsibility to those who have vast knowledge and experience, said the BJP State In-Charge to a query if BJP is in the capture of bureaucrats.
Such a decision is taken on the basis of experience and qualification. Further, the constitution of the party does not prevent any bureaucrats from holding the post of state president, she said.
Making a scathing attack on Bhupesh Baghel led government in Chhattisgarh, she said that the state government has failed on the farmers' front and failed to prevent religious conversion. The BJP will launch a mass public movement on these issues, she said.
BJP State President Vishnu Dev Sai, Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik, MLA Ajay Chandrakar, State Media In-charge Nalinesh Thokne and Amit Chimnani were present on the occasion.
