Raipur. This year the Olympics is going to be held in Tokyo, Japan. Indian players well-versed in various disciplines will also participate in this event from 23 July to 8 August. Today, Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey invited Chhattisgarh Olympic Association General Secretary Gurcharan Singh Hora to Raj Bhavan to discuss the same.

 

Governor Anusuiya Uikey greeted Gurcharan Singh Hora by presenting him with a shawl and a statue of Ganapati before leaving for Tokyo.


In the discussion, General Secretary of Chhattisgarh Olympic Association, Gurcharan Singh Hora, apprised Governor Anusuiya Uikey about everything from departure to return. On this occasion, there was also a discussion regarding union club elections. The Governor also congratulated the Vice President of the club, Bashir Ahmed, Treasurer Sahi Ram Jakhar and Secretary Girish Aggarwal.

 

Indian Olympic Association Secretary General Rajeev Mehta met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and invited him to visit Tokyo. On this, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has proposed the name of Gurcharan Singh Hora as a representative on behalf of the Chhattisgarh Olympic Association.
