HC admits for hearing PIL against the appointment made in the commission, corporation and Mandals by state government

Raipur: Chhattisgarh High Court has admitted for hearing a petition against the appointment made in the commission, corporation and Mandals by state government.

The High Court has sought replies from all parties including the state government while hearing of the petition on Friday. It has been stated that the appointment has not been made following the necessary procedure. Also, only political persons have been appointed on these posts.

Abhishek Choubey of Bilaspur has filed a PIL in the High Court through advocate Yogeshwar Sharma. It has been told that the Chhattisgarh government had appointed in the past few days on the post of chairperson in various constitutional commissions such as the Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Scheduled Tribes Commission etc. There was no transparency in the selection of the appointees, nor were they recruited through advertisements.
