Raipur: The General Administration Department of Chhattisgarh has issued a circular to all government departments to terminate the services of all those government servants who have obtained jobs through fake documents of SC, ST, OBC, and adopted other unfair means. The GAD issued this order following an order from Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
Recently, a delegation of Sarva Adivasi Samaj met with the Chief Minister to draw his attention towards the aforesaid issue. The delegation also met with Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma and discussed the same issue.
The circular, issued on July 24 following the directives of the Chief Minister, instructed all the departments, chairman of Chhattisgarh Revenue Board Bilaspur, all the divisional commissioners, department heads, district collectors, district panchayat CEOs to terminate the services of such government servants who have adopted unfair means.
The High Court of Chhattisgarh has also been requested through the Advocate General of Chhattisgarh to conduct a hearing on the aforementioned cases at the earliest. It was said in the GAD circular to remove those who do have not a stay order of the court if they are found guilty of using a fake certificate to obtain the job.
The GAD has asked all the departments to provide information on the action taken in fake certificate cases to the GAD and departments concerned within seven days.
