Raipur: Chhattisgarh High Court has stayed the recruitment on the post of assistant professor in Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwvidyalaya (IGKV) reserved for the SC candidates.
The petitioner, through his lawyer Anjinesh Anjay Shukla moved the High Court challenging selection of a candidate in the said recruitment process. The petitioner has stated that after the interview, the university released the list of qualified candidates. The university has given more marks to the candidate in the scorecard who has been selected in his place ignoring the academic qualification and experience. He has alleged that the candidate has been selected by adopting an unlawful practice.
The bench of Justice Goutam Bhaduri accepted the petition and stayed the appointment of Assistant Professor on the seat reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
