Raipur:Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a first information report (FIR) against an Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Department after the charges of amassing assets disproportionate to actual income against were proved.
The ACB has filed IR against assistant commissioner posted in Bilaspur C L Jaiswal. To be noted, the ACB has also registered a case against Samagra Shiksha deputy director R N Hiradhar a day before the FIR against Jaiswal, on Thursday. Hiradhar also served as Bilaspur DEO.
The ACI filed FIR against Jaiswal under Section 13(1)B, 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 on the basis of solid evidences. It was alleged that Jaiswal had amassed unaccounted properties during his postings in different areas of the state. It was also mentioned in the complaint that Jaiswal has purchased 23 flats and a house in his native village Gursia of Korba district apart from 3000 sqft land in the name of his father in Songanga colony and two-storey bungalow. A farm house sprawling over 5 acre of land was detected in the name of his wife in Bilaspur. Jaiswal also owns land measuring 2500 sqft in Chandidig and 1000 sft land in Sirgiti.
A chargesheet was already filed against Jaiswal on the charges of giving appointment to eight shikshakarmis through unfair means during his posting in Ramanujganj. The challan in this case was put up in 2018.
