faster pace. Chhattisgarh government's efforts to put money in farmer's pocket
can be considered as one of the reasons behind this improvement.
While entire country has been suffering from
recession and unemployment, Chhattisgarh state is grabbing attention for its
achievements during corona crisis. This is the result of chief minister's far-sighted
decisions for the state such as transferring money into the accounts of farmers
during the time of crisis, continuing production in industries during lockdown
to maintain employment opportunities, providing maximum employment under
MNREGA. Because of such timely decisions, state remained unaffected by the
recession, and after unlock, business sector also recovered at a promising
pace.
