CM feliciates 13 newly-appointed TG community constables, says CG is first state in the country to make a policy for TG community

Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel extended his best wishes and congratulations to the 13 newly-appointed constables of the third gender community during a courtesy meet at his residence office here.  

Expressing happiness over their appointment, the chief minister said that all of you have given a new direction to your life by taking advantage of the programmes and policies run by the state government for the welfare of TG community. He said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country, which has formulated a policy for the welfare of the third gender community of the state and to bring them into the mainstream.

“All of you are an inspiration for your community people. Along with fulfilling the duties of constable properly, you should motivate and encourage bringing change in the standard of living of the people of your community”, he said.

He felicitated all the 13 constables on the occasion.

Health Minister TS Singhdeo, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Secretary to Chief Minister Siddharth Komal Pardeshi, and Social Welfare director P. Dayanand along with other senior officials were present in the programme.
