Health minister TS Singh Deo on Saturday reached Pandit Jawaharlal Memorial
Medical College Raipur for inspection of the ongoing corona vaccination campaign.
He
inquired about the condition of health workers who received a shot of vaccine. “Now
we have weapons in the war against coronavirus and we have to end this pandemic
by following the rules carefully. Corona vaccine is completely safe and has
been made with the hard work and dedication of certified scientists. One should
not hesitate from taking its dose. If any adverse action is thereafter taking
the vaccine, then it could be overcome with the supervision and advice of
doctors”, the minister said.
He said that they are also eagerly waiting for their turn for vaccination. On the occasion, he met renowned physician and Padmashree awardee Dr AT Dabke and asked him about his well-being. Dabke had also volunteered for taking a dose of the corona vaccine. Additional chief secretary (Health) Renu G Pillay, National Health Mission (NHM) director Dr Priyanka Shukla, Medical College Dean Dr RK Singh, Dr Vishnu Dutt and State Immunization Officer Dr Amar Singh were present on the occasion.
