Raipur. Amarjeet Bhagat, Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Government of Chhattisgarh, inspected PDS shops in Raipur today. It was a surprise inspection. He inspected the Chhattisgarh Nagar Tikrapara fair price shop and fair price shops located at Amlidih near Apna Garden. The Food Minister instructed the shop operators to provide good quality ration material to the beneficiaries.
Minister Amarjeet Bhagat had come today to take stock of the electronic machines installed in the shops, especially for the One Nation One Ration Card. He checked the e-POS (Electronic Point of Sale) machine installed in the shops. These machines are on a trial basis in the fair price shops of Dhamtari and Raipur.
Minister Amarjeet Bhagat said that after installing the machines in urban areas in the first phase, these machines would soon be in the fair price shops of rural areas in the second phase. He said the 'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme is underway in Chhattisgarh. In the first phase, the urban areas are the target. Under this, the shops of Raipur and Dhamtari will have e-pos machines.
Food Minister Amarjeet Bhagat has said that he will launch the One Nation One Ration Card scheme in the entire state. With this, when the beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh go to other states, they will easily get ration. Food Secretary Topeshwar Verma, MD of Markfed, Kiran Kaushal, and Food Officers of the district were present.
