Six year old boy from Chhattisgarh abducted in Tirupati

Raipur: A six-year-old boy hailing from Gariyaband district of Chhattisgarh, who went to visit the temple with his family members was abducted near Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh.

Distressed family members have lodged a complaint in the local police station. In addition, Chhattisgarh government has also requested help.

Gariyaband Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel has also confirmed the case with the boy’s family. Apart from this, he has talked to the Andhra Police about the case requesting quick action in this case.

As per police sources, 58 visitors from Kurud village in Gariyaband district had reached Tirupati Balaji on February 27 and there at around 9 pm Shivam, the 6-year-old child of teacher Uttam Sahu, suddenly went missing. Everyone tried their best to find the child, however in vain. In the end, a missing complaint of Shivam's was lodged at Tirupati City police station.

The local police started the search for the child. In the CCTV footage, the child was seen accompanied by a person who was closely monitoring the family at the bus stand. Further proceedings to search the child are underway, said the police.
