Raipur. North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA), an organisation of the citizens of Chhattisgarh residing in America, has been honoured with the Organisation of the Year Award by the senior US Parliamentarian (House of Representatives) at the 10th Annual Global Community Oscar Award Ceremony.
Senior MP (House of Representatives) Danny Davis, in association with international organisation AMEC (American Multi-Ethnic Coalition) and MEATF (Multi-Ethnic American Task Force), organised the Community Global Awards.
The award ceremony was organised in Chicago with several global community leaders and politicians from the USA present. Chicago Executive president, Deepali Saraogi, Vice Presidents Sonu Joshi and Vandana Dadsena, Treasurer Ragini Sahu, Joint Secretary Shashi Sahu, cultural head Khushboo Bansal, advisor and executive Abhijit Joshi, Munish Kaisth, Shankar Fatwani, Geeta Khetpal, Brajesh Sahu, Prashant Gupta and NACHA executive Vice President, Tijendra Sahu was present on dais to receive the award from Senior Congressman Danny K Davis and Amex Leadership.
It is worthwhile to mention, NACHA was started in 2017 in Chicago to promote the heritage and culture of Chhattisgarh. It is now an international brand and hosts several events to promote the state and support the Chhattisgarh community.
NACHA executive president Ganesh Kar said that it is a proud moment for them to receive this award. Members are working tirelessly to promote Chhattisgarh culture in the United States and other countries. This is the first award that NACHA has received. He said that this award is for all the volunteers who are helping the organisation.
