Chhattisgarh: BJP and Mahila Morcha all set to launch state-wide “Halla Bol” movement against increasing crimes against women

Raipur: Chhattisgarh BJP Mahila Morcha is all set to launch a state-wide “Halla Bol” movement against the increase in cases of crime against women.

In connection with this movement, going to be held on February 20, the saffron party held a webinar meeting here on Wednesday to formulate a strategy at the state level. BJP's National Vice President and former chief minister Dr Raman Singh, State President Vishnudev Sai, Rajya Sabha MP Dr Saroj Pandey, Leader of Opposition Dharamlal Kaushik, State Incharge of Mahila Morcha Lata Usendi, State President Shalini Rajput, and many veteran leaders and activists attended the meeting.

In this meeting, along with the sit-in protest, it was also decided to “Gherao” the legislative assembly on the second week of the assembly session under the "Road to House to Halla Bol" movement. All veteran party leaders and officials will join the movement. Besides, there will be a sit-in demonstration near Budha Talab in the state capital.

In addition, a foot march to Raj Bhawan will also be organized after the completion of sit-in demonstration and a memorandum will be submitted by BJP and Mahila Morcha to Governor Anusuiya Uikey. On this day there will also be a sit-in demonstration in all the district headquarters and later a memorandum addressed to the Governor will be handed over to the respective district collectors.
