Raipur. In the India Day Parade 2021, organized under the aegis of Indian Community Outreach (ICO) in Chicago, USA, NACHA-North America Chhattisgarh Association, representing Chhattisgarh, displayed the rich culture of Chhattisgarh through the tableau of Mini Raipur. The echo of 'Chhattisgarhia Sable Badhiya' and 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' along with the national flag in the tableau made Chhattisgarh proud. While thanking NACHA for giving an international platform to the culture of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that he felt immense pride after seeing the tableau of Chhattisgarh in America. He has thanked the executive members of NACHA Chicago Chapter Deepali Saraogi, Tijendra Sahu, Sonu Joshi, Shashi Sahu, Namita Kaistha, Shankar Fatwani, Geeta Khetpal, Abhijit Joshi, Ganesh Kar for taking Chhattisgarh's culture to the international level.
The Ghari Chowk and I Love Raipur themes were the symbols in the tableau. The members of NACHA wore traditional costumes and Chhattisgarhia ornaments to express their immense reverence and love for Chhattisgarhi Mahtari by wearing a katli seal around the neck, earring, nagmori bahuta in hand and arm, and wearing churi, bindi on the forehead. He gave the message of saving his culture to the whole world. He introduced America to the shade of Chhattisgarh's folk culture by performing Chhattisgarhi folk songs Mounha Jhare Re Mounha Jhare Re. Dongri Ke Tir, Lage He Sal Chhind, Lali Parsa Ban Me Phool and folk dances.
The Indian community in Chicago organized this program to promote their state and culture, in which the tableaux of different states were the centre of attraction. On the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day, the priceless culture of India is transported to the whole world. All the members have worked hard to make the roadshow a success. NACHA has been representing Chhattisgarh in North America for the last four years.
