The state government, in its order, has said that in a bid to control the infection of the new variant of the coronavirus, the RTPCR test report of passengers arriving from the UK to India via international flights and coming to the state via the airport or other route should be checked. They must be kept in covid care center hospital if found positive as per the SOP issued. As per the guidelines, SOP should be followed for the passengers who have come in contact with the COVID positive passenger. If the report is negative, then the passenger should be advised to be home-isolation for 14 days, as per the SOP issued by Government of India. Necessary arrangements for regular follow up should also be ensured.
